Christy and I are happy to say that little Anne Regina Karako was born at 7:40 am yesterday, on the ninetieth anniversary of the battle of Verdun and the feast of St. Germanus. Tipping the scales at 6 lbs 7 oz, Anne also measures a respectable 18.5 inches. She is named after both our mothers.

Christy and baby are doing well. We are quite proud, and are convinced Anne displays exceptional intelligence, beauty, and grace. She may well be perfect.
